  • How do I remove an article from a category? I just found out that The 19th cycle - which I had added to the ongoing story category - was completed. In theory, that should be a common problem, as ongoing story's hopefully gets finished.

  • I've been gone from the wiki for a while. Not a lot have popped up in the meantime, and I don't know if it got there recently or not. Is the wiki dead? I'm realizing that even if it isn't, it hasn't turned out to be quite like the old Writer's Lounge. It's not so much a lot of people writing and reading each other's stuff. The people reading is way fewer than the people posting their works, and some of them don't check back for comments either.

I guess I'm asking whether there is any reason to stick around here, or if I should just move on.

  • So i attempted to make a portfolio & stuff. Posted one poem (i will add more later) and i updated my profile. Think i made a wee bit of a mess with my portfolio, it seems to have gone under "Pages under this category" on the portfolio page rather than under "subcategories" So aye, sorry 'bout that, not sure how to fix it. Just let me know if there's anything in any of these areas needing tweaked/changed. and also i hope i've done the posting of my poem correctly. Thanks.

    • Sorry to have created work for you to fix but if you let me know where i went wrong i'll know for next time (Y)

    • Man, you've got me working to the bone right off the bat. I expect a new car and some toothpaste by this time next week, NO EXCUSES.

    • Thank you so much, i really appreciate your help and also your making of this wonderful place to share my work. When i first discovered TWL had disappeared i was horror shocked, until Foolz contacted me to tell me about this place. Admittedly that was a while ago but better late than never, eh

    • So Foolz DOES do something around here. Who'da thunkit.

  • Hey there I was wondering if I could upload my small series on here. It's getting published the end of next month but because it's subsidiary press it's being completely edited by myself and I would like the help of people on this Wiki. What do I need to know about editing on here?

  • Hey man, I just updated the cover for 139: In Evening. Think it's possible to change it on the front page as well?

  • I just got an e-mail from you, asking me to return to TWL on freeforum, but when I checked there hadn't been any activity there for the last month.

    • I don't think the email I sent said anything about returning to freeforum, it was only about joining the wiki. That was probably an automated email.

Hopefully everyone else got it and glanced at the announcement about the wiki.

  • For a while, clicking random page automatically sent me to ARoGB and ever since Under New Management was released, I always get sent there.

  • Is there a PM feature or just live chat?

Anyway, what I wanted to PM you about is to question where we draw the line with adult content? Is it kinda like the difference between a PG13 movie and a porno? I specifically want to know if part 5.13 of ARoGB is quite legal. If not, is it enough to just not link to that one? Could we solve it with a disclaimer?

    • Internet is acting up right now, but, heheh, I just wanted to know, what, uh, what happens in part 5.13? :P

        Loading editor
    • It's up so you can read it. If you have read 3.3 (I don't remember how much you've read), then 4.7 and 5.13 combined is just 8k words.

Since you clearly want specifics, you want get them, but there is foreplay to sex scenes followed by jumps in time. Though at one point a character is very non-subtly hinting at how she'll start the scene.

No, there is no PM feature, only wall messages, chat (a meager feature, imo), and universal commenting. You can always edit or delete any unwanted wall messages, but that's the extent "private messaging" goes around here.

On adult content: no explicit sex scenes. Meaning, no descriptions of the actual act of sex. At all. No "he did this and that to her and then she started this-ing." Sex can only be implied as: a) about to happen, or b) having already happened. If those scenarios are true then you have breathing room to be descriptive.

If I see any adult scenes on-site, I'll edit it, and if we get into fisticuffs over the edit, I'll win, and then I'll lock it from editing and suspend your account for a week or two.

      I'm serious. =I

    • Sounds a lot like the rules I've imposed on myself anyhow, so I think I'm in the clear.

  • When I press the "comment" button on the top of the page it only takes me to the bottom of the page. I have to right click and select open link in new tab to access the comment section.
